Comments (7)If you really want seedlings, just plant some pawpaw seeds. They can take a long time (months) to pop up, so don't give up on them too soon if you do plant some seeds next year. Also, if you are going to do that, let us know and we can provide more tips. However, if you are wanting to plant pawpaws for the fruit, consider buying some grafted cultivars. You'll likely get much better tasting/quality fruit if you pick the right ones. Comments (2)If this is their first summer since transplant I think I'd be inclined to let them do whatever and then cut them back next year. I'm no expert on Paw Paws though so hopefully some others will chime in. Nice to see that your having success with the suckers. I started mine from seed a couple years ago and they are still only about a foot tall. I'm hoping this will be their summer....See Morekitasei2
