Spring Fling 2024
Comments (6)I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. Because my spring schedule is a bit iffy, I won't sign up to bring anything major just in case shower dates are changed, etc. BUT, I will bring a side and possibly a few heirloom tomatoes to share... and peppers. Not sure on varieties yet....See MoreROSES in UK/Europe.. 2024.. Spring/Summer
Comments (964)I second @showa_omori inputs about Wild Edric. I have got it from TCL in 2020 as a freebie and it had only one thin stick. It's super thorny and lime green leaves has sharp thorns at the back. The plant is vigorous (5 * 5 easy). I wanted to get rid of it as I could not handle the thorns but still here. I'm finding it really hard to remove as usual. Here is the bush shot taken last august. Note: The total fence height is over 6ft. The pink flowers on the right is Fragrant Alizee. On the BBC garden forum, someone has praised the benefits of Empathy rose liquid feed. they've witnessed so many basal growths after the root drench . Please may I know how often you've used and how much? Many thanks in advance....See More2024 Spring Plant Swap Offering
Comments (0)I have been having multiple issues posting this information. I went ahead and edited my profile, so hopefully this post will take. Thank you Skybird for your help! Lucy and I (Camille - Arbor Wolf) would be honored to host the spring swap for 2024 in Berthoud at Lucy's farm. It is the same place that we held the Spring 2023 swap. We are available to host the following dates: Saturday May 11 (Mother's Day weekend) or Saturday June 1. We understand another gardener has offered to host the swap also. Great news! Either way, no matter where it is held, Lucy and I want to attend! We learn so much from all of you experienced folks! Thanks. Arborwolf...See MoreSpring Pruning 2024
Comments (4)Pruning off dead wood won't hurt them regardless of the temperature. Most roses can handle dips into the 20's without trouble anyway. Go ahead and prune is my advice. Cynthia...See Morellgarden
