I agree with what Kathy posted. But, if you want to grow climbing rose seed for curiosity and it really doesn't matter how good the roses you raise are, go for it. It's fun and always interesting seeing what comes up, as long as they ARE roses! You do know that seed from a named rose will not produce plants of that rose, right? They may resemble it, or not, and a very few will be as good or potentially better, but most won't. If the seed are from a wide cross, meaning two totally unrelated types of roses, then self or open pollinated, you may get some really interesting things. If they are from a line with much inbreeding, you probably won't get much of any value. I see from your page you live here in the US, so if you're interested, I do have seed from several climbing seedlings I will be happy to send for the postage. Mailing them out of the country is more of a hassle. I can send you a list with links to them on their Help Me Find - Roses pages so you can what the mommas look like. I have around 80 different rose seeds (I'm an amateur hybridizer/breeder). Not too many hybrid teas, but lots of rarer roses, species, heirlooms, minis, etc. If you are interested, I will post a complete list or send one to you. All of my growing is organic, and I keep around 200 types of roses.

Roger, Sugar apples prefer soil pH that is mostly alkaline between 7.0-8.0. At the bottom is a guide to growing them. It was written for the growing conditions in Florida but just make adjustments that suit your region. I feed mine a water soluble complete fertilizer 20-20-20 with minor elements every two weeks. To a gallon of water I mix 1 oz of water soluble fertilizer then I pour it at the base of the trunk. I start seeds in a pot with quality soil. when they are about 3 inches high I feed them a weak solution of the same water soluble fertilizer as above but I use 1/2 oz to a gallon of water. When they reach a foot high I plant them in the ground near a wind break. When I grow them using this system they bloom sooner. To make the plant branch out more, pinch back the tips periodically.
