What hydrangea has very dark stems?
Comments (17)gfleatham, I've been enjoying the info on various hydrangeas you've been adding and appreciate the accompanying photos. Any chance you'd be willing to add your zone & general location to your profile so that they post by your name automatically? TIA Houzz doesn't make it easy to figure out how, so here are directions: Go to Your Houzz in the upper right of every page, click Edit Profile, and on the left side click advanced settings. Well down the advanced settings page is a blank labeled Climate Zone for Garden Forums along with a link to find your zone. You add info on your state or the nearest large city since zone only relates to average coldest winter temperatures. Then return to the top of the page and click Done Editing....See MorePlease help badly damaged very old Hydrangea
Comments (7)I rescued one from my grandmother's house. it was old and not looking so good so she wanted it out! M grandfather planted it for her when he built the house 30 years ago! Anyway, I took it home and dug a large hole for it ad planted it.It looked aweful, close to death. I dug the poor thing up again and dug a larger, deeper hole and filled it with 4 bags of humus. I made sure all the dead canes were pulled and watered day and night. I se osmocote to fertilize. It's been 3 years...itbloomed this year on the anniversary of my grandfather's death..he's with me:0))) Here is a link that might be useful: hydrangea pic...See MoreWhat to do with a very old Corn Plant
Comments (4)Cut it off about 6" from the soil line - it will branch. It depends on the health of the top part as to whether it will root, but what have you to lose if you try? Cut the top off in 8" sections, below a leaf node, plant in good potting soil and keep it damp - it takes a while, but eventually it will root. This is a very easy and forgiving plant!...See More20 yr old crf cat doing very well on chinese herbs and azodyl
Comments (9)Irina, My cat 15y/o has kidney disease and I am treating her with "Kidney Support Gold" and "Old Friend" for over a year, which can be found at: http://www.petwellbeing.com/c/cat-products/condition/kidney--renal Try also the pro-biotics, they are quite helpful. The second type of supplements I am also using is "Feline Renal Support" from Standard Process. Ask any holistic veterinarian to help you purchase it as it's only sold through veterinarians. It can also be found from Dr. Gardner, just ask the company in the link below. For food, the best I could find is a low-protein raw using a special premix which is easy to prepare, you can find it at: http://felineinstincts.com/feline-instincts-crf-my-natural-kidney-support-diet/ Contact them to help you with the recipe, because it's easy to make but is not always very clear from the instructions. This is very good food and recommend it. They also sell a pouch of Chicken liver powder to sprinkle on the raw food to help the kitty eat, and another supplement called "Rena G.O", which I am trying now. And last but not least, if your kitty is feeling unwell, give her sub-Qs fluid asap. It will help to stabilize her. All the best to you and your kitty....See Moredjacob Z6a SE WI
