What do I do About My Lawn Now??
Comments (5)I hate to break it to you, but there is a good chance that you will have to resod, especially if you used fescue sod. Leaving long clippings on your lawn, and watering on top of that creates a perfect environment for fungal disease, and/or rotting of the blades and crowns. You should have started mowing when the grass was 3.5-4 inches tall. When you saw there was a lot of clumps and clippings on the lawn, you should have mowed again, preferable with the bag to remove them since there was so much of it. You are also watering too much. Once your sod takes root and is growing well you don't have to water daily. There is a slight chance the grass will come back if your crowns didn't die, but I wouldn't hold my breath....See MoreI think my tomato plant has a fungus, what do I do about it?
Comments (2)I already answered another post of yours, and it sounds like you might have already replaced the soil. (You can read my comments in that other post) Anyway, two things stand out in these pics: (1) no mulch (2) other stuff in the containers (lemon peels??) If you have pictures of the fungus that is now on the foliage, that might be helpful in diagnosing the specific problems you're now having....See MoreWhat do I do about this caterpillar thing inside my spinach leaves?
Comments (1)They're called leafminers. You can squish them while still in the mine. Next time you plant spinach, put them in a different spot in the garden and immediately cover them (seeds or seedlings) with floating row cover. Loosely blouse the covering and secure the edges with rocks, soil or something similar. Comments (9)Look like sprouting Cauliflower. Do you know the named variety? What is the weather like? Real hot? Real wet? You can eat the stems now, it is not going to go back to "normal" at this point. Heck, since they are growing like that, maybe they will grow more if you cut them like Broccoli. Doesn't hurt to try, unless you want the space for something else....See Moreoreet
