When you say the entire front entry way -- do you mean the entire vertical column to the roof -- or just the lower portion with the arch up to the horizontal break line? Either way -- I would go lighter (just the opposite of your idea - sorry). Just like the windows are trimmed in white drawing you to notice them -- I would lighten the entrance area. Alternatively, consider an Exterior Glaze tinted with a slightly Darker Grey (or any color for that matter). This can be applied evenly ... or applied evenly and then brushed over with a clean push-broom (no kidding). The Darker Grey (or accent color) will settle in your stucco pattern but the under Grey color will still show thru making your entrance a subtle difference from everything else but tied together. Long and involved idea (sorry) but I've done this stucco application many, many times with fabulous results (for large interior areas). The technique is exactly the same for Exteriors and you can research it for more details. Good luck.

London staging the shutters we have are actually stucco of some kind, we are removing them and will re- stucco the entire house. we were looking at adding real Bahama shutters possibly. if we go with a creme color or off White House color, maybe a light blue shutter or vice versa? Emmarene9 , I have tried Sherman Williams colorsnap and couldn't get it to work, I'll have to try again. I like the bottom right picture- is that the off white?

I'd prob paint the stucco a soft creamy and do a dark trim. (did you have the pressure on too high? did it damage the stucco? if so, you'll have to get it patched before painting. not too sure about those shutters. they look too small. if you must use them, they and get more authentic looking ones for a spanish style look Try Shoji White and Urbane Bronze (SW) dig away the grass against the foundation and do some flower beds. see this flower bed? notice the brick and shutters are almost the same as yours. look at what the flower bed like this does for the look of the house. just dig out the grass agains the house and thrown down some dark mulch and a few shrubs Spruce up the landscaping and whatever paint color you choose will be a huge improvement. Paint alone isn't going to fix the curb appeal. get a colorful ceramic pot w/a nice plant and place it under the light plants w/these colors would look nice w/the brick bring in an address plaque something like either of these. or do some vertical numbers on the right side of the door here are some other creamy whites and darker trim colors. grab some samples. Some other combos of colors if you want to use the red w/the white/dark trim color. Your landscaping (or lack of it) plays a huge role in the overall look. get some flowerbeds/plants of some type. for the side of the house, do something low maintenance like the pebbles and cement path, and the simple plants grown along the side of the house
