Yes, we do this as well. Have the litter box in the unused bathtub. It has worked great as the cat sometimes pees over the side and this keeps it from getting on rug or floor and the tub can easily be cleaned. We have not had problems with the tub drain yet. (We were at our last house for three years using flushable Swheat Scoop.) Great to just scoop the dirty litter into the nearby toilet and flush. However, we recently moved and I am developing some concerns about this system. 1. Our cat is old and seems to be experiencing some weakness in the hing legs and I am curious how hard it is for him to go in and out of the tub and am concerning some sort of step or ramp on the outside to help him out. Does anyone have any suggestions? 2. This tub was not well installed (or something) and the drain is not the lowest point. This is leading to water collecting in the low spot and it has rusted a little. Since the cat sometimes pees over the edge this can be pretty gross. Is there some kind of coating or something I could stick on the bottom of the tub to raise the low spot?

In general, beds are made to be taken apart and put back together. People move, and most beds won't fit through a doorway fully assembled. I can't speak for PB beds in particular, but most beds should handle being taken apart and put back together just fine. You might want to check with PB to see if they have assembly instructions available, if you think putting the bed back together might be tricky. Or ask the seller if you can be there when it is being taken apart, so that you will know how to put it back together again.

Wow that is a "bubble-gum in a long haired cat's fur" type of mess! Yikes. The quietwalk was supposed to be the vapour barrier. Ok...it happens. Someone tried to double up on the moisture resistance. In theory a moisture resistant adhesive should have been enough....but someone decided to double down and glue down the QuietWalk and then glue the wood to the QuietWalk. The issue is the quiet walk is not strong enough to 'stay together' when you pry up the wood. This is a mess a hardened professional would cringe to take on. A DIYer is going to struggle mightily. G&S offers great advice. The beer being the MOST important part ;-)

We waited about 8 months for our Ravine Home sectional. I am extremely disappointed with it. We specifically selected their performance fabric after telling our designer that we have a large dog that sleeps on our couches. We have kept the section that our dog lays on covered with a blanket at all times but the fabric under is already looking worn and tired in less than a year. The spot where my husband usually sits looks even worse. The sectional looks nice but I don’t recommend it if you actually plan to use it.
