Comments (3)Even though your high gloss cabinets are a modern style, your countertops and floor choices almost lean more traditional to me. Would you say your style is more transitional with a mix of modern and traditional? I don’t know about the herringbone pattern below, but I just thought the color of this tile might look nice with your countertop. Is it a quartz or a granite? The tike looks like a slightly variegated taupe/grey, but almost picks up that ever so slight rosey swirl that I see in your countertops. I am not sure but it might be Encore tile in the silver crackle??? I know that this is not an ultra modern look, but Encore tile is really beautiful and they might have other more modern shapes or matte glazes you might like to check out. I cut and pasted the backsplash into your kitchen. Since it had a bright white grout which looked pretty busy with your counters, I tried to color the grout darker to match the tile. Not too great of a mockup but hopefully you can see what I mean by matching the grout. I would definitely go with a matching grout with whatever tile you pick. That way the grout won’t add more lines, since you already have some ’stripes’ going on with the extra long pulls drawing your attention. Hopefully Beth H and others will see this post because they always have great backsplash ideas!...See MoreHU-364213985
