Atlanta Stove Works Cast Iron Stove
Comments (0)Hi, I am in the process of trying to purchase an 1860 farmhouse. Out in the yard is a two burner cast iron stove with "PIP Atlantic Stove Works" on the front and "No. 19" on the top. Does anyone know anything about this stove? How old is it? Could it be the original to this age house? Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated! Comments (8)We have iron double doors and they ARE heavy. They are very well balanced though and open and close like "butterrrr". My toddler grandchildren have no problem moving them once they are open. Price these doors before you fall in love with either idea. Our door was reasonable (4K +) but they can run much higher. Your hardware for these doors is not inexpensive either, and if you have the requirements that Renovator spoke of for your area of not being able to leave one side latched- a double may not be worth the security hassles. Our double door is inside a security gated courtyard so we often leave it open in nice weather when kiddos are not around....See MoreFront Entry Door - Wrought Iron Help

If properly painted and if there is some shelter from weather, it can last a very long time. The original front door is on my 1948 house and it's still in excellent condition....See MoreWrought iron front entrance door
Comments (1)Hello. I’m curious how you handled this. I have a new wrought iron door that already needs a few touch ups. Would like to know how you made out with your door. Thank you....See Moredln32
