These often are Olesen/Poulsen patio roses that are sold in grocery stores and one in particular is sold in grocery stores as "Rose Yellow" which clearly isn't a name. I would probably just pick one of the "Hit" varieties to call it as a working name like "Golden Hit" and go from there. From the pictures on helpmefind that's a plausible label, but there are a lot of minis sold in grocery stores and other venues without clear IDs or sources, so it's hard to guess otherwise.

I don’t know what rose it is, but it’s an excellent shade of yellow.

The blooms are small. ar around 1 or 2 inches. i own it. i picked it up from Amazon. the seller only said it was a yellow mini rose. it apparently blooms spring thrthrough fall. it prefers zone 3. Leaves are dark green. it is thornless. it has a mild, sweet scent. like candy or licorice. her here is a bud beggining to open.

Hi, It could be both. But they do like to be kept moist, so I dont think thats it. They are very susceptible to spider mites indoors. You should be able to see them clearly by looking closely at the leaves & underneath the leaves. You will see little webs and small red/orange dots on them-those are the mites. They are very hard to treat, you will need a powerful fungicide. Follow the directions on the bottle and follow up if needed. If you dont have mites, let the rose go another day or 2 without water. You may also want to keep it on a moist pebble tray for humidity, but ONLY if you dont have mites. More humidity means more pests. Minis are just difficult to grow indoors for any length of time. Your description of "almost striped" gives it away. Probably Glowing Amber, which I would say is "almost striped." It has streaks, if you will, of both yellow and red on flowers with very good exhibition form. Kathy

Mini roses...leaves turning yellow

I want to say that it is overwatering and to let them go without a watering for a couple to maybe even 7 days. However, I'm going by what happened to my regular roses planted in my garden the first year I planted them in '05 and I was on here in a panic! The bottom leaves yellowed and fell off within a day because I was giving too much water. I thought it was because I'd sprayed too much Neem oil spray mix on for blackspot. Right now my 4 are in a west window and they've gone from yellow, drying, and falling off or me pulling them off to the stems going limp from not enough water now. So I just watered them well today and we'll see what happens. However, I think I'll either re-pot them in a non fertilized soil or just plant them in the ground or a large planter when I get a chance. Good luck with your babies!

Could be that they needed to be hardened off. They were grown in a greenhouse, and need time to get used to being outside in direct sunlight. In the future, before you plant them, gradually expose them to sunlight over a week or two. You can tell pretty quickly if the leaves are starting to burn. If the canes are still green, they should be fine.

Just so you know that isn't a definite label but one you can use that's plausible. I am sometimes fine calling my roses by an "adopted name" even if it wasn't the one they were "born" with, if I don't know the real name.

This is an Olsen parade series rose called Mistral. it was bred by Olsen who worked for Poulsen Roser. it was firs announced in Denmark. this has a scent and is thornless. it is around the size colocolor and shshape as my rose. This is the closet one i found to my rose without bein wrwrong aabout something. i would never have found it without you. This is the one i have decided to adopt my rose as. Thank you!❤️
