The white one isn't hardy. Mine died after two years in the same bed where Red Flower Carpet is thriving, as well as the china Mutabilis. Yellow Flower Carpet & Sunny Rose (Kordes), new last year, in another bed are doing well with only snow cover over the past winter. They both flowered well despite drought conditions last summer. They are both growing well in our long cool spring. You might also consider Yellow Brick Road which has Yellow Flower Carpet in it's parentage. If you don't mind thorns, Moon River (KORconta)white, is hardier & completely no care. An old white rose that is also completely carefree in my garden is Seafoam. It's an excellent spreader & stays low to the ground.

Hi Kevarose some of the suggestions are great - I especially liked Garry's idea of Buff Beauty or Phyllis Bide. I am looking out my window at the ferral rose garden and had another idea. What about climbing Softie? She is normally shown as small - to about 1.5m, but mine has grown to the top of a pine pole (about 3m)and I once saw one that was about three times the size!! She is constantly in flower with sweet lemon blooms which are fully double and fade to white. Not that I can actually see her - Lamarque has smothered her! I'll atempt a rescue mission on the weekend. Softee is a climbing minature and so could be planted on the side of the structure so she could almost 'sit' on the roof. Softee s thornless!! and does not have 'canes'. Her growth habit is like an everyflowering rambler - which is what that think you are asking for. Another climbing miniature I have read about is Golden Garden. Though she has canes 'Penelope' the hybrid musk is a perfect colour and has the advantage of lovely hips in autumn/winter - her growth is similar to Buff Beauty. Cheers Deryn

Oh, lo e the colours in sky. I always enjoy nature . This is bizarre Bec I took pics yesterday at 5.30 am while driving to work. I showed them to my kids Bec they never look up to enjoy anything so engrossed in their video games. First photo taken in the car when I was at red light. Second and third was as I was walking from garage to work . one side is different colour than the other as the sunrise is coming up. Last pic. on my back at 3.30 pm yesterday. My favorite was electric blue the early morning at dusk. jin
