New Seedlings and Old Seedlings With New Colors
Comments (16)They are all beautiful, Debra, you have some of the best seedlings I think. Val Sweetheart has always been beautiful, just such a wonderful color, I think that is what I prefer about the original, but the red version is great too. Do you ever get seedlings that you prefer the first year of bloom? Seems like I have had several that I thought were more appealing, then the 2nd year they just lost something. They got better bud counts or branching, but the flowers less original....See MoreBall Gown Romantica new from Star Roses 2024
Comments (52)Lovely roses! Sorry you lost your Ball Gown, Christian! Never fun when roses never take off then die. I agree with PDXRobertZ8 about marketing photos. Would be nice if they would also show what the flowers look like open. I don't think I've seen an ugly rose bud, but some roses when open aren't so great. Would also be awesome if they would also mention how long the blooms last, even if it can be variable. Alas, I'm off onto wishful thinking lala land now......See More2024 A New Year a New Game

Comments (26)There are several good looking seedlings in this post. Debra: I love that dormant red seedling and WHITE TOOTH x SKATER #4 Nan: ALL OF MY LOVE TO YOU x RANDY STEPHENS is really nice looking. Brad: I love the rich color of BOMBAY SILK x VINTAGE WINE. I lost the tag for this one but it is from seeds that I purchased from Ed Burton on the LA. This one is a screamer. It is SOUTH SEAS x NEON FLAME. Not my usual color range to work with but this was a cross that I could not resist making. This one is under evaluation: It is out of DESIRE OF NATIONS. I love the color of this one. This is another seedling from seeds purchased from Ed Burton. That is all from me. David...See Moresherrygirl zone5 N il
