Basement Bathroom Addition

We are beginning a whole home renovation - One of the first projects is adding a bathroom to our basement. These are the finishes that I am contemplating. That being said I will lean more traditional on the main floor of our house. If I go a little more modern in the basement, does that mean I should lean in that direction in the main-floor bathrooms? Or does that matter? I could always carry the same finishes into our guest bathroom on the main floor to tie them together. The tile is black/white, the vanity is a weathered light tan, and the tile is a glossy white subway tile. We are installing a low threshold shower (48x36) and I'll add a long white shower curtain with the rod mounted at the ceiling. The subway tile will go about halfway up the wall that the toilet is on and hooks for towels will be added to that wall as well. I'm looking at matte black for the towel hooks, toilet paper holder, etc. All opinions/insights are welcome!
