Exterior Ideas to late 70's Spanish Style Home
Comments (11)It looks very dark, so maybe trim up some of those trees to allow some light to come in. Those niches, definitely need something. Maybe some type of metal art. You definitely need landscaping. A good idea would be to have a nursery draw up a landscaping plan. If you have the budget to do all of it now, that would be great, but, if you dont, then it could be done in phases, as long as you have a total design. Oh, and have someone professionally trim those shrubs that have a bowl shape on the right hand side. They would look much nicer if they were trimmed to a normal shape....See MorePaint color 1920’s Spanish style house
Comments (13)I would not add a third colour to the exterior for the trim. As it is, my eye automatically goes to the trim around the windows (as it contrasts with the wall). If you like the existing attention around the windows keep it the same (to tie in with the roof) however, I would be inclined to consider painting the trim out with the wall colour (which I do like). Keep a pop of colour for the front door....See Morelooking for an interior white for a spanish style home
Comments (4)I need to see the space and as for the lightiness in a room that comes from good lighting more than paint. Make sure all the lighting is LED in 4000K then test whites my gut says something not pure white but thaat gets decided when you adjust the lighting then paint poster boards with 2 coats of 3 whites you like , move them around in all tha spaces to see what looks best to you....See MoreAdd exterior trim to Andersen casement windows Spanish Revival? Comments (32)Hi. I'm no expert (very far from it lol), but in dealing with a situation similar to yours, I came across this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUXKXJScyYQ This person added the trim afterwards (on top of the stucco). Doing that might make you feel better about your windows. Good luck going forward. Please let us know what you decided to do. Depending on the shape of the trim you choose, if you try this, you might be able to get close to the look of the window trim in the picture shared by Jeffrey above even though not actually recessed....See MoreRic and Eva Green
