Just as a sidenote incase anyone is interested: I also enclose in each hosta a second cheap plastic label I stick way in the dirt just incase the metal one gets displaced, so I always have the hosta name in a second place. I notice though that even black Sharpie markers do not last forever. And if the sun hits any part of it, forget it. However, if you get their Metallic Silver markers that are meant to write on dark surfaces, these really stay forever. I have had labels out in the sun for years with no fade so far. And, I also just discoved yesterday at Staples for the first time, that Sharpie now has Oil-Based Paint Markers! They are specifally made to be Weather-Water-Fade-Resistant. The pack I got was one Gold and one Silver. But on the back of the package, it says that they also come in other colors, so I am sure you could find black too at some point. They also have them in different points, med,fine, etc. I just thought I would share that while we are on the subject! Christy

I have put 2 claw foot tubs in my house. The first was from Vintage Tubs. It is cast iron and nice. I don't remember which tub exactly, and it has been a few years. My only complaint is the edges of the tub are not as nice as I would have liked. It is subtle, and I may be the only one that notices it. My most recent tub cost a little more, it is also cast iron. It is the Barclay tub and it is a little nicer than the first tub. All of the edges and paint is very nice. The first tub has a deck mount faucet set and the second has the fully freestanding mount. Be sure to decide which you want before you order, so you will or will not have the drilled holes.

There's a Lowes nearby, so that will be convenient. My windows are single and double crank outs so not that wide. I'll check it out. Do you recall what time of year they run the discounts? Sometimes places run specials right after Labor Day because that's usually a dead time for people to shop.

Hah one of my supply houses can't beat HD or L's price half the time. I say, "how much for a CH 20 amp single pole breaker?" They answer, "$13". I say, "They are $6.50 at HD" They say, "We can do $9.00" Western Extralite is much better than that supply house though. I've taken to buy most everything I can at the home stores and the oddities at the supply house. Just the other day the supply house guys were a little hurt when they loaded some 3 inch rigid into my truck with a stack of Siemens panels from L's already in there. I knew there was no way they could even match the price so I didn't give them the chance.
