I started several herb plants about 3 weeks ago and the Stevia was the last one to peek through the soil. I've read some articles about it and I believe it's going to grow best in a abundant sunlight and heat. We'll see...I'm just excited about trying it in my tea one day!

I grew the blue bacopa from seeds this year. I got them from Ebay. They are tiny little seedlings, but almost all of what I sowed in the house under lights grew. I put some in a hanging basket and some in a pot with other plants. Both were in full sun from 7 am till about 8 pm. They are still in full bloom. I'm going to try bringing them in the house for the winter in the next few days as it supposed to frost.

If you are talking about wild lowbush blueberries, yes, I dont bother becuase they grow wild all over the place here, very small berries, with alot of flavor great for pancakes and muffins etc.. I think Christie you are talking about highbush blueberries, anything you grow will not come true to what the original bush will be.. If you have no other types of blueberries in your yard, you might not get any pollination on them as well. But since the seeds are free, you could always try. Its probable going to take 3-5 years to get any sort of production out of them, if they do set fruit. (you can get two to three year old starts for about ten bucks from alot of mail order companies), either way blueberries need acidic soil, if you have any pine trees, grow them around them, they do not like alakline soil at all, lowbush wild blueberries can tolerate alot, the high bushes are fussier,they want good drainage. I have lowbush growing around the edge of my property and purchased a couple of highbushes this year, bluecrop and patriot (a univ of maine creation). Silverkelt
