my first bowling ball - can't decide grout color
Comments (6)Very nice! Has to be your personal preference (I'd probably go a light color grout) ...have you looked at the BB in the GJ Inspirational album? I posted a link today on another thread...but I'll put it here...maybe it can help you decide. TFS! Jeanne S. Here is a link that might be useful: GJ Inspirational Album Bowling Balls...See MoreHelp! Can't decide on hardware color and suddenly need to!
Comments (2)I have white molding and trim and decided to go with ORB (and I love it). I think it somewhat depends on what look you want. I was going for a real traditional look. I think polished nickel will give you a more formal look. Black might be great, but it will be a very strong look. I used Baldwin. It may be more expensive than Emtek (depending where you get it), but I talked to a couple of decorative hardware stores that carry both, and both steered me away from Emtek due to quality issues. Having said that, my builder uses Emtek all the time and was unaware of any clients that have complaints. I did ORB throughout the house for door knobs, handles but mixed in other finishes for cabinet knobs and bath fixtures....See MoreCan't decide what color to paint/stain my new coffee table.
Comments (17)Well, if I were you, I would paint the coffee table the same as the end table and bring in some pillows that have the color of both the sofa and tables. Also you might want to turn your side table the other way...it will work better visually. A fun little lamp, maybe... https://www.wayfair.com/lighting/pdp/viv-rae-powers-155-table-lamp-vvro1002.html And these from Walmart... https://www.walmart.com/ip/ClosetMaid-Cubeicals-Lemon-Fabric-Drawer/49920563?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&adid=22222222227039772150&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=80648066449&wl4=aud-310687321802:pla-178379349169&wl5=9026837&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=49920563&wl13=&veh=sem...See Morecan't decide on exterior color
Comments (5)Congrats on a sweet home!! I agree with all said before. Especially Beverly with the choice of green, the color stays within the craftsman style, but most importantly gets away from the gray shade (trendy & nice but so 2016.) I would paint the porch peak a shade lighter color , pillars too (but the pillar base the same darker color of the house. all trim to remain as is. bright color squat fat pots on the graduated step side, bright blue in color (chartreuse/purple/burgundy elephant ear plants) and a burgundy front door. a hanging lantern in the porch if you have the clearance, can't tell by the picture. Your home is great but don't try to turn it into something it is not....See Morejck910
