Can you help me to identify Lavender varieties
Comments (5)hi meyerlemon there are abought 39 types of lavenders.. im not an expert but we grow a bught 50 types of herbs and abought 6 types of them are lavenders. so my guess is pic # 3 looks like goodwin creek because half of the leaves are rigid and the other half are not..and it has a light soft collor. pic # 2 looks like grosso? only because of the flower and abought 1 inch down theres another flower. the only thing i dont like is grosso looks more compact. but you might just have one that is streched. pic # 1 looks like Spanish or french Lavender. i cant realy see the leaves from the pic ? are the leaves rigid or smooth ? is it real woody? so from just looking at the flower it looks like spanish. hope this helps......See MoreCan you help Identify this variety of Japanese Maple
Comments (25)I don't think it has Verticillium Wilt. I believe it just partially dried out sitting above ground in the nursery yard. The only thing that kept it alive it was that it received an occasional sprinkling of water and it managed to send a few roots down into the gravel and soil. The top drew water faster than the small rootball could supply it even though for the most part the rootball was moist. Look at the large green weeds growing out of the burlap. They have been there for quite some time. The tree is salvageable, but it will be a long time before it will look presentable.......if ever. Being alive and looking good can be two different things. Japanese maples are tougher than most people realize....See MoreCan anyone help identify this succulent disease?
Comments (9)My first thought was rain spots, but why wouldn't the new growth at the center be affected? Hoovb, how quickly would that spread to plants on the other side of the house? Mai had a microscopic mite attack an Aeonium & other plants a couple years ago- not visible with the naked eye and no webbing. Exceedingly difficult to figure out. Have you tried clicking the leaves over a white sheet of paper? You can then examine the paper with a magnifying glass or loop. Might even see movement with the naked eye. I would also like to know about that stunning purple plant. Your plants are all beautiful from what I can see....See MoreCan anyone identify this Cymbidium variety?
