They are 3 years old; last year they both wilted and i thought it was clematis wilt (may not have been after reading posts here). This year, I dug them up and put them in a pot thinking I would plant them in a new location. I am considering moving them as the area they were in is near the bottom of a slope next to the foundation where it is very wet. should i replant in the same location or is that asking for trouble? i know they like to have moist soil but maybe they wilted due to too much water…? any advice is appreciated. of course, they are doing great in the pot.. I’m in 6b.
