Comments (2)Thank you for answering my question, I thought maybe I just wasn't looking in the right places. That really is quite disappointing, I've been looking forward to those 3 roses for quite some time now, mostly from conversations on this forum, and had places in the garden picked out and everything. I wonder if they'll be coming to Canada anytime soon, but from the sound of it, I'm guess I shouldn't count on it. I wonder if there is any way to get them to Canada? Anyways, thanks a lot for letting me know :)...See Morewill mulching prevent dragon's blood sedum from spreading ?
Comments (4)Hi Keving63, What are you planning to mulch with? Sedum's spread on the surface, so in order for them to spread, the stems need to be in contact with the soil so they can root. If you use a coarse mulch around them, you'll neeed to gradually keep the mulch pulled back so the spreading stems are laying directly on the soil if you want them to root and keep spreading. There are a lot of weeds that won't be killed by mulch, so definitely pull out any you see before mulching and any you see coming up through the mulch. Good luck, Skybird...See MorePossible blood beside litter box
Comments (11)We use scoopable litter, but the "extra-strength" version, which forms harder clumps (Everclean ES, unscented--it's a bit pricier than some other brands, but does the best job preventing odor IMO). We liked it better for two cats since the clumps are less likely to break apart with two of them going in/out of the box. The downside, is you can't flush it--it states on the box that it will clog the toilet. Once in awhile, if someone goes in and makes a stinky poop, I'll scoop it out, and either bag it and run it down to the trash can in the garage, or flush it down the toilet. I figure, the minimal amount of litter stuck to it isn't going to cause a clog. Generally, we scoop the litter box twice a day. In the morning, DH scoops, puts it in a bag, and takes it down to the trash can in the garage on his way to his car before work. At night, he scoops again, and either takes it down with the garbage bag from the kitchen, or takes it down by itself if the garbage doesn't need to go down. I don't know if it's possible for you to do anything like that, but if you can, it'll prevent odors from building up....See Moresocks
