Drought Arizona Gardening Shrubs

Can anybody help me ID this plant.

I am visiting my mom in Arizona and keep seeing this plant everywhere. unique because it is a cooler tone, almost blue silver type of green not seen a lot here. the leaves are needly and the whole bush is feathery and light. I uploaded a pic, hopefully it is clear enough. I might be way off but i was thinking some kind of artemesia?

I'm not sure you are way off at all :-) It does look very artemisia-like and could be one of a couple native sagebrushes. What does it smell like if you rub or squash the foliage?

Thanks, bboy. In researching Lomatiums, I ran across a related genus, Cymopterus, which I think may be the answer -- specifically, Cymopterus newberryi. If anyone can confirm or deny this guess, I'd love to know. Here is a link that might be useful:

This is an update of this post for the 2 unidentified pings I bought on November of last year. The ping I called "type 1" is Pinguicula gypsicola and the one I called "type 2" is Pinguicula moctezumae. I.d. them by their flower as well as leaf characteristics. Sorry no pics of flowers cause in my attempt to take pics to post. Knock them down from the table & landed upside down, basically mushing them good. Plants are okay & looks they will recover but massed them up pretty good.

Assuming this is Oncosiphon,some people asked for seeds and I would be glad to provide some but have no idea how to get seeds. I'm not a real gardener, just wanted to know the name of this plant that is all over the foothills north of Phoenix.
