need suggestions for living room arrangement and coffee table/ottoman
Comments (102)Put just the one above the TV for now. That might work with just one piece because it looks like the same width as the TV, which is a good thing :) When your console comes in and you hang the art, we can experiment with having a vase at one end to see how it looks. You aren't restricted to just wall art. You just don't want to get too busy on the wall and console. So some of this will be trial and error to get the right look. As to the love seat: it does need to move to the left if it stays in the room. If you had a smaller end table there you could probably pick up 6 to 10 inches. If both end tables were smaller then you could move the sofa down too and pick up more room on the love seat wall. Are you keeping the chair in the room? It would be ideal if you could keep the sofa on the long wall and the chair on the wall where the love seat is now and find another place in your home for the love seat. But I understand if that isn't in your plan....See MoreDesign help? 2 living rooms? Huge entry way?
Comments (8)Good idea to add doors to converted garage and use it as an office/play room. If you use the sectional in the original living rm., can you remove the middle seat area to make it shorter? Then put it in front of the living rm window and your t.v. and console opposite on wall next to pantry bump out. There will be more walking room to office/playrm. Unfortunate your sectional ends can't be reversed for this reason. Or keep current sectional in office and put new furniture in original living area that will fit the space, such as a shorter sofa under the window and two chairs. Or shorter sofa to make an entrance corridor along front door area and chairs in front of window. Add taller bookcase to bump out area and another chair angled along back of kitchen wall next to t.v. console....See MoreLong Living Room Arrangement help! Windows + Entry ways
Comments (5)I guess even if we do just one sofa in the far area (since we will eventually get rid of the pullout couch), what kind of set up would make sense for the entry way? Even if we are looking at getting new furniture....See Moreentry way table decor
Comments (5)IMO remove the mirror and replace with a piece of art. Mirrors work best where they reflect something worth seeing twice and the side of a fridge is not it . Can we see the space from further back ? Is this a family entry or for guests ? BTW I will not go shopping for you that is your job. This looks to be a bit country the chandelier not so much so I really need to see more of your home....See MoreJulia McCurley
