New season, new blooms
Comments (21)ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! The first one probably came from seed from me!! (laughing), the rest obviously were yours! There are some absolute beauties here and the next to the last one is to die for!! Are these all coming from the same person you sent these seeds to as I see a huge greenhouse facility where ever they are...there are varieties there that should be in cultivation!! They must be jumping for joy! As I said before, the cybisters and species are the way to go!! I'm turning a little green as I wait and wait and wait.... Donna...See MoreNew season blooms

Comments (10)As we start a new week, with special meaning for all Americans....go Navy Seals....I know that we are not supposed to be happy at the death of anyone, but I not sorry about the death of such a monster! I finished another project yesterday, a very quick candy corn and pumpkin swag. Will post pictures when I string them and add the cloth, they take up to much room when they are complete, so that will come later. I really wanted to plant a garden this year, the cost of veggies are so high, but by the time I pay someone to till the ground, add all of the things my clay ground lacks and then buy the plants or seeds and then pay someone to weed and all of the other things that it takes to grow a garden...well the cost is right back up there with the stores. I planted carrots back in the day and the ground is so hard that they were about 3" round and 1" long.... Well, it's time to start painting again, doing a pumpkins with daisy's on the front, or at least I am trying to paint daisy's. Take Care All!!!!! Comments (29)Carol, can't take any credit for this one! I must thank the bees and the supplier for leaving the hips on the bare root rose that I ordered. What I do know now is that Stephen is a good hip parent and the seeds have good germination. Judy, about 11 weeks. I had the seeds in the fridge before sowing in the beginning of Jan and had the first SR seedling bloom under lights the first week of April....See MoreFrancesco Switzerland ZH, 8a
