I just have to thank you for this post and all the responders. I now have all the 5 gallon buckets I can stand from our local grocery store's bakery department. They had icing them. My sister didn't have the same luck, but it got her mind to thinking where to go other than the same grocery store. She's going to a local buffet restaurant to see what they tell her. Now, just so you know, it IS a lot of work to clean out the icing buckets... I had NO idea how disgustingly greasy that icing was! (LOL) BUT, I'm very grateful to be saving so much on the buckets, so no more complaining here... The lady is so nice to save a few every week for us. We just go in when we normally do our shopping and grab them on the way out. It's WONDERFUL! Blessings, Angela

Thanks for the advice, though I haven't had any luck with CL (Posted twice now). It would be easier if I were a bit handier andn could make one myself! There are a few groups that have meetings or the like to show you how to make one (I think that there was one at Whole Foods recently), but I might just have to make this a project when I have more time to tinker. I might try Freecycle again after the baby is born, not much time to drive around for pick ups!. ;-0 Thanks! Jen

Put an ad on your local CL that you want boxes. Go to a liquor store and ask if you can take some of their boxes. Go to grocery store and ask for apple boxes. Know any friends who are active Mary Kay consultants? We get our stuff shipped to us in a great moving size box. If you don't have an active MK friend, find one on marykay.com... we're all over the place.

Well I do like a good cheap mattress pad when I'm organizing my cheap bathroom fittings. Goodness what a great response one gets here to "cheap bathroom fittings" LOL I have to think of something else to need desperately...hopefully with spamming involved cuz umm that's fun :oP
