Blc Copper Queen took a nasty Fall
Comments (13)Unless the entire plant is ravaged (bruises or huge gashes near the bottom of all of of the bulbs), I would say you don't have a problem. :D I once dropped a Mueller off of a six foot shelf and the large clay pot filled with rocks that it was in twisted, broke a ton of growths off, and smashed the plant. I threw it in a thrive-or-die pot (pot full of random media that contains several other plants in various states of dying or regeneration), and it thrived. It was the ugliest plant imaginable, but two months later it was throwing out growths like crazy. It's still ugly, but it lived. :) Stacy...See MoreAck! Buds losing turgidity
Comments (10)Not sure we're talking about the same thing again, but some of the smaller catts do have weak flower stems and the flowers droop. I usually tie them or clamp them on a small stick so the flower is held up. I can't remember if I had to do this with Copper Queen, but certainly others. For some this works, and in time the flower stem holds the flower in a permanent position. For others, like Hoku Gem, they just droop forever. I posted about this once, and one reply said that catts that bloom without a sheath (as many nodosa hybrids do)... these catts, where buds don't have to push their way thru a closed sheath, always have weakish flower stems, and flowers often droop. Makes sense to me. From the looks of your buds, you'll know in a few days....See MoreA few more in bloom - Summer
