Comments (13)Jeanne, you've done alot more than walking!Yeah Love all your Easter decor. Dollbaby is so sweet w/her bunny bibs and bonnet. All ready for the Easter Egg Hunt. I didn't share TJ but I will. She's dressed in a polka dot dress w/matching hat of DGD's. I found one of DGD's dresses in the shed that I'll put on her for Easter. Eggs that light up! You know I'm lovin' that. Your bunny looks like it's busy eating right out of the bowl! The plaque compliments it nicely. Your so talented! The couple w/eggs is precious. Your fairy cloche is so neat sitting on the chest. The bottom of the cloche is also nice to have out with your DM's 'green casserole' dish. Bunny place card holders on the cabbage leaf placemate and your lit up egg are such a great combo. I always enjoy all of your decor. Are you putting eggs in the cake plate this year too? Oh forgot to mention your fresh flowers in the lovely pitcher w/chicks.Awesome Hope you can get in more walks and enjoy your yard more. I cleaned all of my flower beds and hope to transplant some of my strawberry plants soon. Punk...See MoreSea Pearl or Danby Marble w/my Soapstone?
Comments (86)lynn2006 - Thank you! The photos really don't do it justice. Such a calm, serene stone with a cottage/coastal look to it. My DH likes it, too; I think it's both masculine & feminine. Yes, the fact that it won't etch is huge. They won't guarantee it won't etch but if it does, the pattern & subtle texture will help to mask it. Marble etching doesn't bother me; more so, my DH. So this stone works for both of us. I love that it is not a polished stone; it looks so different from the other Sea Pearl slabs I was considering primarily because of the matte finish. Fingers crossed the quote doesn't blow the budget! holly-kay & romy - I appreciate your input re your sinks! Now I have that decision to make. :) My DH likes stainless; I like the apron look. Our fabricator said he makes a cost-efficient "faux apron" sink by using a stainless steel undermount sink with an apron front made out of the counter material. He's going to provide photos of previous jobs; says it looks nice. That might be the way to go for us; a nice compromise....See MoreHelp needed with w/d and sink placement in my laundry room
Comments (38)Well, blow me down, I just checked and there IS a bubble thing only on the washer door!!!! Who knew?!!! (ok, so you did!!! :) I think I may be the only one in the world who doesn't use a basket to unload the dryer. I pile it up in my arms and then shot put it onto the counter (which is why I'm thinking having the counter closer works better than the sink, for me. Actually, if I can get around the open dryer door, it's closer to get to the counter from the dryer if it's on the right side too. If not, I'll use a nifty cart that I learned about on here. I don't use a basket because I have a bad back and don't want to bend down to pick it up.. the w/d will be as high as possible. Now I just need to make sure if the dryer is moved to the right that it isn't too far for venting. The vent is going to be coming out of the top left of the closet (it can get through the left side of the laundry room because there is a barn door covering that whole wall. So close but yet so far!!!...See Morestanofh 10a Hayward,Ca S.F. bay area
