Does anyone else have a problem with Dental X-Rays?
Comments (53)I always hated getting that one back x-ray with the film. It always hurt. But I got through it. Now, they have digital x-rays. There is no film. It's a big plastic thing that has no give to it and hurts like heck. This thing made me cry. It was so painful. I could not even do it. And they kept trying and trying and it was cutting the bottom of my mouth. They made me feel really stupid and were very threatening because they said, well your insurance isn't going to cover it unless you take this x-ray. So here I am in the car crying and trying to find out if anybody else has this problem. Of course I should know by now that if I have a problem a lot of people have a problem. It's never just me. Has anyone experienced this digital x-ray bs? How do I get through this? I asked for a smaller one. they said they didn't have one. They only had one size. I said how can that be when everyone has different sized mouths?...See MoreDoes anyone else have problems with Overstock?
Comments (8)I just tried it out and it worked just fine. I have high speed wireless. It could be that you don't have enough memory in your computer or that you need to delete some of your history. Download CCleaner and use it twice a week and it will remove all the temp. files and history for you. I've been doing that for years plus I use Spybot once a week to detect any trojans or other spyware. You'd be surprised how many bugs are in your systems....See MoreDoes Anyone Else Have This Problem?
Comments (5)Hi Ingrid My screen looks basically the same as what you describe, in that it starts off in ARF with the list of topics located slightly to right of centre, then when I click on a topic, the text shifts to the left and the sidebar of 'More Discussions' appears on the right. I don't have the problem with text in the list of topics disappearing off to the right, though. It all fits normally, plenty of room... I wonder if everything got out of kilter somehow, while you were trying various things to get the text to a legible size for you? Is the whole thing now/still a bit too large to fit your screen, perhaps? If so, can you reduce it just a little bit more, without the print becoming too tiny again? I think Houzz did increase the text size at one stage, after that first barrage of complaints, so perhaps it would be OK to downsize a bit now?* Alternatively, might it be that your whole screen content shifted over to the right at some stage - mine used to do that sometimes on my old computer, for reasons I never fathomed. I don't suppose there's a grey bar along the bottom you can just shift left a bit, is there? That's all I can think of at the moment... I do hope you can find a way to fix it somehow, soon. It must be very frustrating. *Oh, yes, can you get into 'Settings' on your computer, and increase your font size? Then you might be able to reduce the page (with that F- thing) without making the print too tiny. Good luck! Comtesse :¬)...See MoreAnyone else having this problem?
Comments (36)Here's the latest request I sent: Myself and many other Apple Safari users are having an issue with the GW site. Here are four OT threads I started in different forums on GW asking if I was the only one with the problem. I'm not. There are many of us and it seems your solution is instead of using our Safari browsers, we should switch to Chrome (Those on an IPAD can NOT use anything other than Safari!) Why are you not willing to look at the problem many of us Apple Safari users are having. Here are the threads: http://ths.gardenweb.com/discussions/4653673/ot-anyone-else-having-this-problem?n=36 (Kitchen Forum with 10 users with Safari problems) http://ths.gardenweb.com/discussions/4654673/ot-anyone-else-have-this-problem?n=9 (Bathroom forum with 4 users experiencing problems with Safari) http://ths.gardenweb.com/discussions/4653535/anyone-else-having-this-problem?n=25 (Building a Home forum with 10 users having problems with Safari) http://ths.gardenweb.com/discussions/4654675/ot-anyone-else-having-this-problem-with-their-apple-products?n=18 (And 10 on the Home Decorating Forum) So far that's 34 GW users having problems with Safari. Sorry but telling us to switch to Chrome (which is not even possible when using the IPad is not the answer!) Here is what happens. When I click onto a forum everything is usually fine. If I start clicking on the threads, and then click back to the forum, I get the blue box. (See attachment labeled Screen Shot 2017-05-20 and see red arrow pointing to blue box) Apparently I didn't realize this, but I also get a gray lined box around the outside of the threads that go down about 12-14 threads (See green arrow pointing to the line). Anything within that gray lined box, meaning the top 12-14 threads can not be clicked on. Nothing happens. Anything below that gray box can be clicked on. (See attachment labeled Screen Shot 2017-05-24 which shows the bottom of the gray lined box.) A company that cares about its users will not just say tough luck and switch to something else. They will find a solution. I have contacted the website request but to no avail as they tell us to switch to Chrome or it's a problem with our browser. Yes it's a problem with our browser, but it's a problem for many of us! Attachment(s) Screen Shot 2017-05-24 at 9.16.39 AM.png Screen Shot 2017-05-20 at 3.41.51 PM.png...See Morerustyj14
