Prosthechea boothiana

This is the first blooming of my Prosthechea boothiana. I have a total of 6 flowers about 1 inch. It is a miniature grower which is pretty wide spread. It grows from Florida to the Carribeans. I could not find out a lot about its culture so I grow it like my Prosthechea cochleata. It recieves bright light in a southern winow. It is mounted so I water it every 2 to 3 days. I grow it in intermediate conditions. So far so good.

    Hi Greencurls:
This is adorable! and Florida native...even better.
Where did you get it, as I'd like to add one to keep my Encyclia tampensis company : -)
    Great growing!

Hi Maryanne! I purchased this from Springwater Orchids on eBay. Thanh Nguyen is the owner. You can contact him to see if he has more (thanhnguyen79@earthlink.net). I have quite a few orchids from him and i am pleased with all of them.
