Hi everyone,

Newbie here looking for info & suggestions to attract bees to a kids' small garden in Florida.

We've read soo much about colony collapse & bees & want to plant flowers, herbs, etc. near our small garden of tomatoes & peppers to feed the bees in our area. Our children enjoyed seeing a few bees (& fuzzy bumble bees) in our sunflowers & marigolds last year & we've bought Lemon Queen sunflower seeds to participate in The Great Sunflower Project but we would like other suggestions as well to add to the yard.

We're needling suggestions of EASY to germinate/grow & save seed from flowers or plants because we're working with children & wan tto be able to learn to save seeds to share with other families at our school & Cub Scout Pack for future planting. They'd have to be able to survive in Florida's climate & fairly sandy soil.

Any info/suggestions are greatly appreciated!
