it's rather hard to read your posts without punctuation...

Do I understand you're in Pennsylvania? And you want bamboo for your area?

First, you might want to do some research.

Go to Google and look up what ZONE you're in. The USDA website lists it. In fact, I think there's a zone listing right here at GardenWeb.

Once you know your zone, then go to the American Bamboo Society, or back to Google, and look for bamboo species that are rated for your zone.

Then...
You have learned a bit about how to do research on the 'Net, and you can ask for species that are specific to your area. It's a little bit more polite, when asking for something, to not expect the 'giver' to know what you want.

I'm not trying to put you off or anything offensive like that. That said, what I AM saying... is that manners are for everyone ;-)

All of these places were recommended by folks on gardenweb bamboo forum. Their prices are descent even for I thirteen year old. Yeah, I remember when I was 13 and If I knew about bamboo I would have bought that rather than sport cards. Good luck on your quest.

Probably not since that nasty old teacher lady (I picture her as an elderly geography teacher - long since retired now) called him sweetheart and scolded him for being a 13-year-old. Poor guy probably lost his love for horticulture that day and never went back. I hope he made it through his teenage years and twenties alright and is a thriving, happy adult now. I picture Palmguy today with three kids of his own and a beautiful Middle Eastern wife. The Legend of Palmguy05.
