Will garlic plants be damaged with freezing temps?

I have a question for any of you garlic gurus out there? This is my first year growing garlic (planted of course last fall). Everything is up and growing well, but now we have a late freeze warning for tonight. Temperatures may get down to 26-27 degrees tonight. Just how tough are garlic plants? Will there be damage to them at this temperature? Do I need to try to cover them? I'm looking for advice as I have 4 large beds of garlic growing (100 square feet total). I'm really hoping someone with experience can give me an answer.

Thanks so much.
