Comments (18)rock oak, the glass to glass should work with ge silicone ii for windows and doors (clear) unless it is old, or has been exposed to air for too long in the tube. It won't cure if it is too old. Some people use lexel and I might try that because it is actually more clear. Automotive goop is what I have found workd best on metal to glass. But I don't have any right now so I think I used the silicone on my spoons. Kathy...See MoreTeapots, Totems, Plate Flowers Front Yard
Comments (33)Love you Victorian Home! I didn't realize I was a member until I tried to register:) I've looked at so many of your creations, you are so inspiring!! I have a few questions I hope you don't mind :) Your bird bath is made of what? How did you make you flower plate? I saw what you did with a spoon but I must have missed what you used for the center of the plastic plate, was it another plate? I love all your totems, neat how you turn a flower vase up side down and put your tea cups on them :) I went to the thrif store looking at things in a whole new way. Thank You for posting your creations and your lovely home, Did I miss the backyard pictures? Jackie...See MoreI Made Plate Flowers,Totems and a mess
Comments (12)Lucky mom! Love the cobalt blue. I bet it will look wonderful in the sunshine. You have some unusual pieces in your plate flowers. There is one with what looks like a hummingbird feeder piece (green) on it. Did I guess that right? I like how you used some of those oblong flat marbles too. All very pretty!...See MoreSome more Plate Flowers
Comments (7)I flattened out a spoon and bent it over and glued to the back. Then you put in a pipe, pvc or like my top one, it is sitting on an old plastic tube from a burned out solar light. I see some up against a fence and am not sure how they did it yet. Search for more info from dcarch on this forum for more things about this. Does anyone else have anything to add? I just started doing these flowers and searched here for the same thing you just asked. I use E6000 glue and time will tell if it will hold or not. I do not plan on leaving mine out all winter, but you never know. Copy and paste this site out from DollyDee. Just too pretty. http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/junk/msg071113132120.html?21...See Moremaozamom NE Ohio
