Pictures of the actual house in question will help immensely.

You did this backwards and we can only guess with no pics.Post pics here in comments DO NOT start another post. When choosing wall colors always see what undertones they have and SW sea salt is green with blur undertones so of course more minty. The floor drives the wall color more than the other way around .

I don't see the issue.......? You need a color above white wainscoting? Why? Use the same white, matte finish, wainscoting in satin finish.

Add art, furnishings, color in a rug when you stage the property. Someone will thank you.

O k, guys, here is some more info. I had picked out the floor first, but then we had an issue with it and had to switch. I don't necessarily have a problem with sea Salt with the floor, but i'm not sure what color paint to use in the living room and dining room looking into kitchen... And there is also a four season room off the kitchen.

Interesting idea above to use the same white as Wayne's coating but in different finish. I will talk to my husband (contractor) about that

1. What do you all think of city loft? Will that work with these floors and in room leading up Sea Salt kitchen?
2. Should we do the same color in the back? 4 season room off the kitchen than we do in living darning area. So we don't have three different colors in openish areas?

Fine in the kitchen! Don't paint the next owner into a corner! Use furnishings to carry the color. Paint is a SECONDARY decision in design. Not the first. You have no clue who will live there or their furnishings ( unless you sell it furnished) or you're renting it out? Whatever! Use a rug and art.

You don't need three or four paint colors on the walls,.

I think City Loft in the rest of the public spaces would be a great choice, easy to decorate with but not a starker white. I think the overall feel between the two paint colors and the floor will be soft and fresh.
