Comments (31)I'm pretty sure Da Bun is good to go now? Or at least halfway.... HazelNutBunny, _could_ I have managed to stuff any more in that one box? I don't think I could. But you'll still be getting a second box too. I really, really, really tried to get everything intended for you into that one box (and I tried both of the FR boxes of the different shapes/dimensions) to no avail. I'm glad you caught the mailman. I think things would have been okay, but had it rained - well, I'm not sure all of the teas would have survived. I think in the end it was thirty or more teas... and there's at least one more to come in your next box too. I wonder if I should send you a kitten in the next box? The rescue, Mimzy, had a litter of 4 starting around 2 AM on the 20th. I still need to post about what I received but there never seems enough time for ANYTHING these last several weeks....See MoreShould I go to Step-daughters wedding?
Comments (68)agree with coleen. there was this story on parents forum. This one lady posted her story as estranged parent and how her DIL treated her poorly and that's why she does not talk to her son or somehting of the sort. It did sound like a real story. But people made suggestions to her that she might be too harsh on her DIL and her son, so she should try to treat them nice because they sure cannot be as evil as she decsribed. She got upset and dissapeared. But then as time passed some newly registered member posted a thread about her MIL, in this thread this "young lady" was telling the same story but now from a position of DIL. and she portrayed herself as selfish and mean DIL. Now everybody is yelling and screaming: how dare you be so mean to your MIL, you are so evil and selfish. As time passed though it turned out that that same original poster (MIL) created a new name and decided to impersonate evil DIL as to convince everybody that DIL trully is evil. When it was uncovered both posters (or actually one under 2 names)dissapeared. So people do bizzare stuff to prove the point or waste everybody's time. On the other hand it is OK to discuss hypothetical situation with the wedding or with whatever else even if it is made up. Who cares if it is real, it is not like it makes a difference for us, right? The only difference is that with real story people can provide clarifications and true details to help with discussion but in made up stories we don't have that....See MoreHow much to pay Realtor?
Comments (25)"You only pay him $1k (or whatever it is) or so to help you this time and already you try to beat him out of his next commission? I'd have to decline the offer and say, when the time comes to sell, we'll talk about it." Bernie, I suggested that because I know several realtors that offer a discount on the listing side of a "round-trip". That is, if they get a full commission representing you as a buyer, then they let you know up front that they will list the house at a discount when you're ready. In fact the realtor I use does the listing entirely for free. The realtor in this case didn't get a full commission, but it doesn't hurt to ask the question. Some realtors may hate the idea, but as a consumer it's a marketing tactic that has definitely worked on me....See Moremaddielee
