Ashley's Prom, Bigger & Better (Attn: Beverly)
Comments (18)Beverly, I've seen lots I didn't like either, they were either too short, or had plunging necklines about to the naval, so low in back that you could see their butt crack (well, nearly), or slit up the side to their armpits. And those were the ones that weren't so tight they looked as though they'd been applied with a paint gun. Sheesh. I was always told there was a fine line between slinky and sleezy, and a lot of dresses this year crossed that line by about a mile. Nope, I liked that little mint green fairy dress with the floaty skirt..... Annie...See MoreAshley's Senior Prom
Comments (26)Sherry, I don't know when she's getting married. David's sister "surprised" the family with the announcement that she was getting married this summer. That wedding is May 20. David's mother says she can't handle two weddings in one year, it's too "stressful". Since Amanda doesn't really care whether they get married or not, she just said they'd wait until next year. It's fine with me, I have Ashley's graduation, then her open house, her trip to Costa Rica, and college preparations to make for fall, I have plenty to occupy me this summer (and to spend my money on!) Comments (21)Great pics! Kevin does look like both his Mom and Dad! The girls look great too. Love the dresses. Everyone looks like they're planning a great night. Your Post Prom sounds like our Project Graduation. Here for Prom night most kids rent a limo together (8 or 10 kids) and go out to a nice restaurant for dinner, then go to the Prom and then on to breakfasts at different houses. I had a group here on Prom night this year even though my youngest is 21. It was mostly kids his age who are out of school, but they had friends and family going to the prom so they were in a festive mood. They just hung outside, laughed and talked till 3am!!!...See MoreWhat did you eat as a child that you wouldn't eat now?
Comments (120)Jello. Only eat it now on that day before one of those procedures we must get every 5 or 10 years. Packaged pizza mix. It was all we had in the mid 60’s small town, and we teenagers thought it was so cool to make and press out dough on an pan and have pizza at a sleep-over. iceberg lettuce. I’m sure I have had it as an adult, but I try to avoid it. Thankfully my mother was a wonderful cook, my dad hated casseroles and lunch meat, so we avoided a lot of really bad stuff. He did eat sardines and saltines once in a while, and he had the kitchen totally to himself when he ate them. Canned LeSeur baby peas. One of the only canned foods my mother did buy other than tomato paste or sauce. I still like them on occasion. Loved them with her homemade mashed potatoes with butter. I would mix them together on my plate....See Morearcy_gw
