Flexstel sofa and love seat?
Comments (16)Manufacturers want you to work through their dealer network. They do not want to establish a working relationship with a customer as that usually ties up their office staff for hours on end. It would be like calling GM in Detroit and asking for a brochure for a Silverado pickup. Go to your local dealer where they can get things for you promptly and answer your questions. Manufacturers are also keenly aware of internet price shopping and want to keep their local dealers solvent. Therefore they don't do things like list all the dealers on their national website, don't send fabric or leather swatches, and sometimes will not send out photos or catalogs. Everyone has a job to do, and the local dealer's job is to work with the retail customer. Another thing too, is email can be overwhelming (if you even make it through their spam filters). Most manufacturers right now under NOT doing well, and are asking their employees to do more and more in a workday - not hiring a lot of office staff. Answering email from retail customers is right at the bottom of the list of things that need to be done in a given day. -Duane...See MoreFound a couch/love seat, need reinforcement ASAP
Comments (21)KAT, I think you nailed it!! DH even commented tonight, when I was going through a circular from another store I stopped in (after seeing this couch set). he says to me, you like everything. And I tell you, I do, I mean really the only thing that I dont like is anything too big and poofy. I guess I'm just style impaired, not really knowing what is considered formal etc. I just see something and if it appeals to me, I like it. I told him, I guess I'm just not hard to please :) And yes, we do have pets, a big 75 lb pitbull dog who has made him sleeping area the patterned couch!! A teacup chihuhua (who doesnt get on the furniture unless she is put there and 5 cats, who dont lay around too much on the couches, except at night, I have throws EVERYWHERE. I did just get an experimental packet of "soft claws" they are pretty cool, not sure that I'll have any willing participants, but I'll have to figure out the worst scratchers and attempt to apply them. and yes, I do have scratching posts all over so why they feel the need to stretch on my couch, I have no idea. one gets frisky on the rug but JUST underneath the coffee table, so I dont always see her. UGH. So I guess the consensus is to pass on this one and I will. I'll get DH to go out again next week and see if we cant find something at the other store. OR we may go back to the store in Macon and get there with more than 30 minutes to look around!!!! As always, thanks for your input and advice....See MorePlease help me choose living room furniture, mantel & accents!!!
Comments (8)Your idea about the mantel is spot on ! I think your new rug is nice, but....(sorry), I feel like you dont need a rug in here or you need something lighter, smaller possibly even a free form like faux bear or even round. the space is so small the rug is closing you in. recliners will eat up a lot of space here........ you will have to forgo the coffee table I suspect. have you toyed with the idea of an ottoman instead, especially since if you are reclined you dont really face the tv so it might not be as awesome lol. You could do a reclining chair and sofa with an ottoman, might get more function out of that. Leather sofas really only have so many looks, so I would argee that gray is not really great I would lean toward beige if it was me. might I also toss out there the light bulb you have shining on the fireplace is a bit to daylight for my taste and also seems to be very bright! I think diming it down, narrowing the beam spread might high light the art better, its a bit washed out right now. https://www.costco.com/campania-leather-power-reclining-sofa-with-power-headrests.product.100390699.html https://www.macys.com/shop/product/kaleb-tufted-leather-sofa-collection-created-for-macys?ID=2672877...See MoreHelp picking sofa and love seat colors!
Comments (8)DON'T buy the loveseat - they are the bane of good seating arrangements. Unless you have a courting couple in the home who like to snuggle, a love usually seats one person. Most people don't like to sit that close together. Even on a 3-seat sofa, they tend to leave an empty space in the middle so they can turn and face each other for conversation. Get two upholstered armchairs instead. I think you'll want to paint your home anyway, so first change out the lights for 4000K LEDs. That will give accurate daylight color. If you plan for this sofa to last more than 3-5 years, then get a neutral color that will work when you decide to change rugs, curtains and accessories. If you like to change your decor every 2-3 years, then just get the color you love. Paint is the last item in a decorating project because it can be custom blended to work with the fabrics and textiles in a room....See MoreBarbara C
