Comments (17)Greenman this is a reply to you you wrote a note just above what I am about to write. Mine has a silver sheen, and the leaves when I got it from Michael Vassar had the sheen not just on the skin but on the leaves as well. I will go out and check my out again tomorrow, I don't remember the growth rings on the stem. I only reply at night so can't look at the plant. I do have two I believe, one is more stressed the other one is growing in open run. Greenman please show me a picture of those leaves, I think the leaves are different as well. I can send you a piece of mine so you can compare, no need to return it if you are willing. Norma...See MorePlease help! I need to break my lease
Comments (2)well, kicking the ball against a wall is not "having nowhere else to go." Little kids kicking the ball on the ground back and force to one another, or riding trike and squealing--those actually, depending on one's personality, could be pleasant noises to hear outside one's home. And I think you need *first* to tell your landlord of the problem. Documentation (setting up a video camera, or something) might provide him w/ a tool to use against the other tenants. So, if you can, try to get video of the problems, and put that on a disk. Or take a snapshot of the motorcycle, and print it out (or get a print made, if you use film). Write a letter to the landlord detailing these problems. Tell him the time of day the kids play, and request that he come and see it for himself. Tell him you fear that these other tenants will act against you if they suspect you have complained, and request that he investigate these things directly himself, so that the complaints can be clearly seen to be coming from him, independent of you. Then ask if you can move to another unit. Then you have to give him time to fix it, if you want to break the lease without being forced to pay the rent until he finds a new tenant. Your landlord certain doesn't want someone kicking a ball against his wall, so he needs to know. And does he know about the problem w/ the breakers? In order to have any legal leg to stand on, you have to give him a chance to fix these problems....See MorePlain 70s Ranch - needs help!
Comments (8)well, right now you have the tan, the brick, baby blue and the white garage doors and fascia. it's a mis-mash. the shutters are an improper size (too narrow) If you must have the shutters, do something like these. here is your brick w/white stucco and black shutters this coloring is nice. I would think about doing horizontal redwood slats on your inset porch area, around your window and the walls on either side. kind of like this,,just on the recessed walls. this also looks great with black and white. remove the house numbers from where they're at now and place them vertically to the right of the garage door. get bigger ones in black. some color options. you can also go to Sherwin Williams color snap visualizer and upload a picture. try out different colors...See MorePlain wall, off center fireplace, please help?
Comments (7)Agree with gracie01. Move TV to console on left of FP. Make sure the console is at least 2/3 the width of the space from the corner to the FP and center it in that space. Hard to tell but I think I would go with a much larger rug so the recliners are on it or pull the recliners in so the walkway is behind them...See MoreCara Fidler
