Oh how cute
Comments (13)Very cool. I also got caught up in the links on Jodie's site... Thanks Jodie! Lots of fun stuff. Then I got my fairy name. Get this... HEX GOBLINDANCER! Everyone else is "Rainbow love spreader" or "Sweetness and light twinkler" and I'm Hex Goblindancer. Not that its wrong exactly... I'm just saying now I remember why I never do those personality and spirit things on the internet, lol. Apparently I wear black feathers, red rose petals and have green butterfly wings. I won't tell you where I live (or I should say lurk) its just too embarassing! Nor the harbingers of my appearances. I may just have to make something in honor of good old HG in my garden tho. Especially after seeing all those beautiful miniatures. kathy...See MoreCute BH&G kitchen makeover
Comments (22)I don't have that sink but lots of people have posted about it -- you can do a search either here or at Ikeafans for Domsjo sink reviews. I've seen it at Ikea; it's made of ceramic and is very nice looking in person. Not saying that the pp is a snob but one shouldn't assume something is poor quality just because it's inexpensive... also those countertops are concrete, not soapstone, and probably DIY since the total kitchen reno cost was $5000. I didn't get the Ikea sink mostly because I had a white sink before and was ready for a change. It is one of the few sinks I saw for under $1K that extends the full depth of the countertop (front to back) -- would have been perfect for our wood countertops. I don't know how well the ceramic wears. The double version is huge....See MoreCute $6K kitchen redo
Comments (13)I agree with Marcolo and blfenton...it's nice to see some color! The turquoise accents are wonderful and I love the vintage vibe of the space. Great example of staying neutral with all the main purchases, but still having a lot of color in the room. I really like the chandelier and the way it ties in with the hardware, too! There seems to be a strong desire to stay neutral with many kitchen designs. Here's a way to bring back some color and personality, with accessories only. I still like color on the cabinets, backsplash, or even appliances, but for those who don't want to commit to color in a major purchase, this kitchen offers some great possibilties :)...See MoreSewing mavens, how cute is this?
Comments (4)That is indeed super cute. As an alternative to buying one or sewing- get a plain white chair slipcover and glue on or iron on fabric for the back, and felt circles for the burners and such. You can even use fabric paint to write knob controls or a clock face onto it....See Morededtired
