Martina, I wear the 6. Technically one foot is 5 1/2 the other a bit shorter. Both feet are wide with one wider than other.

I have such a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and look good. I usually have to get wide width. So I was thrilled to find these.

I would only buy a shoe that fit comfortably as soon as I put them on. Never, ever with the thought of how it would stretch.

Wear them around the house. You will know if they feel too tight after your foot starts to expand.

Mine were comfortable from the minute I put them on. I have not worn them walking all day as a tourist. But I have worn them to shopping mall, so walking around for few hours.

I had tried them 2 years ago. I thought they were beautiful and several people said they were great for walking. I bought them in my usual size ( 8 1/2- sometimes I am a 9. no cinderella feet here) and tried them around the house. They were ok, but not terrific. I was intending them for walking in Portugal ( heavy duty cobblestones) and just didn't feel confident so I returned them. The next size was just too big and I did feel that they would stretch............. they are so attractive but weren't meant to be for me.

Salonva, I wear good sneakers for heavy walking. As mentioned, I have worn them walking around a mall for a few hours.
