UPDATE: Kathy547's Secret Pal Swap...April check-in
Comments (53)I received a lovely package from my pal. Pal I loved the little coca cola plaque and the seeds. I so enjoy coca cola items and grin with each thing that someone finds. To answer your question. Coke items are always cool. SMILE... so are Tweety items. I collect these so I find somewhere to put them. Thank you for the very sweet notes you always include in your items, they brighten my day and make me smile. Yes, I'm doing better now. Although our spirits are battered and bruised and our family a little smaller we are adjusting. Some days are hard and some are easier. Spring has let me and my daughter get out and do things. My mother is still having a very hard time with all the deaths and that is expected, she is very ill as well and has been hospitalized a couple of times .... when she is better and her health improves both mentally and physically we will be all much better..... don't think I can deal with ANOTHER loss.... 3 has been enough... it has been a rough few months.... Thank you pal very much for asking. Cassie...See MoreUPDATE: Birthday Bash Group April Month

Comments (151)LOL... one word... CATNIP! Lots of it! I think I've contacted everyone that I needed to today. If not, someone drop me a note. We're forecast for severe thunderstorms today through tomorrow night, so my computer time may be limited. I don't like being on when there's lightening even though we have cable internet. Fran, please let me know ASAP whether you hear from Carrie. That will be the deciding factor in what I set up for Joan. By the way, Jamie emailed me and is still trying to get in touch with Kim. I let her know that officially, I'd dropped them from the swap, but if they complete it, both of them, and send me DCNs and post contents, it will have them clear for the group with the condition that they will have to send first in the next MNF swap they join. I felt this was the most fair way to deal with it, if they both complete the swap. I invite her to hang about and get to know folks and she's assured me that she will :) I'm very happy about that! Oh, and I called the company I ordered from and they're putting a rush on the order, and I found out that it's always best to call the order in and request a rush. Have a really nice conversation with the young lady I spoke with. We discussed my theme gardens and she's going to be checking into GW. She's interested in seeing my Gargoyle bed and Naughty Garden and I'd bet she'd be interested in seeing some of the other Goth type beds and any of the themed beds. She was really interested in the possibilities of those. I told her she'd need to check back in a couple months to see pics of mine since they're still pretty dormant at the moment and it will take some time for the kids and DH to get everything tended to, especially in the new beds that we just started working on. Anyway, she was a really sweet young lady and we had a nice conversation and she tried to see if there was more she could do to get my order here quickly. The rush was all she could do, but I should have my order here sometime late next week or early the following week. So I'll be able to have Nikki's box to mail out then. Everything else is ready and packed. Or ready to be packed :) Though the longer I have to wait to mail it off, the more seeds I find to tuck in ... for cushioning, ya know? Comments (150)hi everyone, hope all is well. so much is in bloom, day by day, seems minute by minute too. such a glorious sight, isn't it? my azaleas are just beginning to bud and the dogwood is almost there. the trees that kill me are saucer magnolias. they are gorgeous, smell incredible and then make such a mess in each of their phases. the carol, that's one complicated puzzle you got going. the only thing i know are jack russell terriers. tya or something is one of the dog's name. the only granddaughter's name i can think of is clarissa. so if anyone knows any other parts of carol's 18 part question (LOL), add to it. i did a full day of yard work yesterday. i wanted to spend today out there, but the weather wasn't the greatest and then company showed up, so that saved my aching bones. i lost quite a few plants this year. maybe someone's trying to tell me i have too many as it is. i dug up so much last year and planted in containers/pots, maybe that was the problem. hopefully the ones that really need replacing, i'll be able to trade for - they came from my baby's dedication bed. new amy, are you talking seeds you have to trade, or those particular plants? theresa, sorry to hear about your surgery, hope everything went well. i don't think i ever experienced a spinal headache and sounds like something i hope i never do. i sure hope that has subsisded. jeanne, sorry to hear you aren't feeling too well. how nice that you won a little "pick me up". when carol completes her games, i'll start one. be well maryanne...See More
