I've decided to not go light in the first floor unit. and go with your thoughts. the second floor unit will have slipcovered furniture. the area for furniture is 9 x 14 so not sure if I want to do sofa loveseat corner w/ table or sectional that measures 114 x 91. tv will be between 2 windows and there is a 12 foot slider door . i like the white slipcovers w accents of blue and then wsnt to get rug for area. I would like a droplets console on wall near stairs. whats your thoughts on furniture. there is also cathedral ceilings over living room...See MoreNeed help with floor color
Comments (2)II would NOT rip hardwood to replace with LV anything. Sand and stain, and extend what you have. . the lower level ? that's the place for LV AND IT NEEDN'T MATCH YOUR FIRST FLOOR. Don't reMUDDLE you way out of your "parents house" into a fad of cheap....See MoreNeed urgent help with floor color
Comments (12)I don't love either of your samples. I would also never make a selection based on that tiny sample. Bring more samples home. Once you have narrowed it down to 2 colors, you should then order a box of each and lay them out in your home. Your flooring supplier should place a hold on enough flooring from each color, so that when you pick the box you like best, you are actually getting the same lot # for the whole order. Yes, you won't be able to return the box you rejected, but that is a small cost, compared to ordering and installing a whole house of new floors and realizing that you hate it and it looked nothing like the tiny sample you had used to pick the floor....See MoreNeed help picking flooring color for entire first floor
Comments (10)You do know that tile should be removed before installing the LVP? As for color I don't love any of those but lighting has such a huge effect on flooring my advice change all the lighting to LED 4000K then see what looks right . Remember the flooring you have is also having an effect on the new samples .but from those 3 samples and what I can tell the one you think is too brown is the one I would choose with your cabinets....See Moremillworkman
