Comments (24)My online art course! I'm taking classes in watercolor painting from Domestika, a company in Spain. They offer a lot of courses in a variety of fields, mostly artistic, and I learned about them when many of their courses were on sale. I added a discount coupon I found online, so the total price of my course was under $10. I didn't want live classes, so this is perfect for me as I can work on it whenever I want. I'm impressed with the structure, the content, and the instructor. The only downside is that the course is in Spanish, and the poorly-translated English subtitles are often confusing. It's also a challenge to watch what the instructor is doing and read the subtitles at the same time. But that's what pause and rewind is for. I'm enjoying the course so much that I've already signed up for another one, also under $10. I have the feeling Domestika puts its courses on sale often--maybe all the time? I really don't know about that, but I can say there's nothing cheesy about them. Even the subtitles have been a positive because they sometimes make me laugh. In the age of Covid I appreciate all such opportunities!...See MoreHave YOU found any bargains or deals lately?
Comments (20)If anyone needs a new tub diverter, Moen Branford model 3857 chrome finish is on sale on Amazon for $44. It’s ”sold and shipped by Amazon” which usually means you can return it. I paid $57. Amazon’s dynamic pricing is at work here here. Price fluctuates. This tub diverter model is the nicest I’ve seen and has an old world look and is easy to install. It looks like brushed satin in photo but it’s actually a shiny chrome. Other finishes have different prices. It will be in stock soon. Worth the wait. Keep in mind it does not come wth installation instructions or a hex tool. Moen is trying to reduce its environmental footprint. Installation instructions are online. I’m posting it below. If you need it, their customer support line is friendly and helpful. Moen customer support 1-800-289-6636....See MoreHave YOU found any bargains or deals .......? Hhhhmmmmm.........
Comments (43)OK, that makes some sense. I just couldn't picture picking something that long up. I'm used to just the regular snow shovel although my "shovel" part is heavy plastic so it's lighter than the metal one I use to have. A neighbor has something I haven't seen before. It's a battery operated "snow shovel" that acts like a blower. Pretty neat. It makes a narrow path and it can't be deep snow but it works pretty good....See Morenicole___
