LG Kitchen Appliances: Reviews?
Comments (19)I replaced ALL of my appliances with LG appliances. Stove and microwave. Refrigerator and dishwasher and a front loading washer and dryer. Wasn't long, dryer was first, all was professionally installed. Dryer leaked the blue dust you find in the lint catcher. Stuff was all over the house. The washer started to smell bad and grew mold even though they magnetically manged the door to so call "prevent" this. Both are white and still look brand new. Dishwasher was next, started shutting down before the load was done. Called about all 3, sent a repair man to fix the dishwasher. Nothing for the dryer.. Washer still doesn't work right. Refrigerator middle door grinds and leaves plastic powder everywhere. DON'T use the ice crusher! You will be digging ice out onto your floor for an hour! Recently the only thing I thought worked good was the microwave but the digital numbers started to flicker and now it sounds like a train breaking on the tracks! I've made up my mind to contact them an will insist on a full refund and they should remove this junk. All kitchen appliances are black stainless steel and also look brand new!...See Morereviews on LG and JennAir Kitchen Appliances! We need help!
Comments (7)There are 19 reviews of various Jenn-air appliances and 112 reviews of LG appliances on Consumer Reports (https://www.consumerreports.org/join -- $10/month digital). There are hundreds of consumer reviews of LG appliances on such sites as Home Depot, Best Buy, and Lowes. You might find a few consumer reviews of Jenn-Air appliances on appliancesconnection.com and ajmadison.com. It's better to buy each appliance individually as different manufacturers excel and producing different types of appliances. Even within a brand, there can be small difference in performance among products that differ wildly in price. However, LG appliances often do well in Consumer Reports ratings....See Moredon’t buy an LG appliance

Comments (17)I have a seven year old LG fridge - no problems so far other than the appliance company that delivered it didn't install one of the doors correctly. They were never able to get it right but LG sent an authorized LG repair person who got the job done. I also bought a house with a Samsung washer and dryer that are probably nine years old now and no problems there either. Granted they are in a second home that has been used mostly on summer weekends since we bought it so not used heavily. I bought all new appliances when I moved into my home eight years ago. Ironically the only one that's needed repair is the Bosch dishwasher and that took five visits by the service technician. The other appliance that's problematic is the GE OTR microwave. It's flakey - you close the door and it starts running and says Pause among other strange behaviors. So far opening and closing the door and pressing the stop button eventually causes it to work properly so I haven't tried to get it fixed. I will eventually just replace it with a different brand....See Morewendy blotzer
