Good Benjamin Moore paint line for exterior door?
Comments (14)Is price really a factor for one door? You only need a quart, so if you buy Aura it's going to cost you around $25. Regal Select will cost a bit less, but both will cover better than anything you could buy at Sherwin Williams or Home Depot. You could save $15 but may end up having to apply more coats and then you may need to go and buy another quart and end up with something that isn't as durable. You see it's not worth it. Thanks paintguy for the feedback. Looks like BM it is....See MoreBenjamin Moore Heritage Red versus Dutch Tulip Front Door

Comments (5)I prefer a cleaner white for trim, doors and cabinets in general and that's why I see CL as a better choice especially considering the tone of your floor. Chantilly Lace and Simpy White both technically work with Wind's Breath. There are no red flags that show up in the notations to indicate that they won't harmonize or go together. For example, I would do WB on the walls, CL on trim/doors and SW on the ceiling - it's a pretty palette. Consider the color of the cabinetry throughout the house too to help you make a decision....See MoreStuck between Benjamin Moore Pale Oak and Benjamin Moore Classic Gray
Comments (42)Hi - these 2 colours sit increasingly further clockwise on the Color Strategist Wheel, away from Pale Oak. They will likely apoear a a little cooler by comparison. So in your setting, they are somewhat less likely to shift quite as pinky-purple. Sometimes, just moving a few degrees can make a difference, sometimes you may have to move a whole lot further to mitigate colour shift. These are a both a touch darker (lower Value) than Pale Oak + more colourful (higher Chroma). They have the capacity to appear a little greenish where Pale Oak reads well for you. But maybe less likely to do so where Pale Oak looks a little pink/purple. If either is too dark? Then you need a colour with higher Value. If either is too colourful? Then you are looking for a colour with a lower Chroma. If these still read too pinkish? Then moving further clockwise again could help mitigate that. Viewing large paint chips or samples in your space, with your lighting will help indicate how they are likely to behave for you. #huefamilies #value #chroma...See MoreCelery.
